Tolentino
Poltrona Frau’s historic home is in Tolentino, in the heart of the Marche region: an area with a centuries-old tradition in leatherworking, which over time has become a district of excellence, where knowledge of the material and artisanal skill are passed down from one generation to the next.
This heritage, spanning more than 110 years, is told through the Poltrona Frau Museum, designed by architect Michele De Lucchi. The museum takes visitors on a journey through unique, timeless products, born from a distinctive combination of design, craftsmanship and technology.
Tolentino is also home to the headquarters and first production facility of Poltrona Frau In Motion, established in 1985. It hosts the Style and Research Centre, the Design Department and the Engineering Department, alongside the Atelier, dedicated to bespoke projects and special productions.

Montegranaro
Opened in 2023, our Montegranaro site, also in the Marche region, represents the next stage in our industrial growth.
Equipped with advanced technology and machinery, it is designed to manage large-scale production volumes with the same precision and artisanal care as an atelier.
The site is dedicated to the large-scale production of seat covers, door panels, headliners and dashboards, combining efficiency with exceptional standards of materials and finishes.
In 2024, the introduction of dedicated in-house software further improved workflow efficiency, reducing both material waste and time loss. The site is set to expand further in response to growing market demand.
Coventry
In 2024, Poltrona Frau In Motion expanded its presence in the United Kingdom with the acquisition of KJ Ryan Ltd, a Coventry-based specialist in high-end interior components for luxury cars.
Founded by Kevin Ryan in 1989, KJ Ryan has built long-standing relationships with some of the most prestigious names in British luxury automotive, including Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and Range Rover.
Today, the company brings together more than 150 highly skilled employees and a strong reputation for local expertise, quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Together, Poltrona Frau In Motion and KJ Ryan give UK clients a stronger local presence, specialist expertise on the ground and the combined strength of two complementary businesses. KJ Ryan’s production capabilities are now integrated with Poltrona Frau In Motion’s expertise in design, product development and supply chain management.
