On Friday, September 11, the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile in Turin hosted “Living in Motion”, a talk celebrating the 40th anniversary of Poltrona Frau In Motion.
On stage, Giovanni Maiolo, General Manager of Poltrona Frau In Motion, Flavio Manzoni, Chief Design Officer of Ferrari, and Rossella Guasco, Vice President CMF Design Europe at Stellantis, shared their perspectives on the evolution of automotive interiors.
Design, colour, materials and craftsmanship were at the heart of the conversation, starting from one central question: what does it mean to inhabit a car today? A theme that goes beyond function to embrace comfort, identity, sensory quality and new ways of experiencing movement.
Luxury itself is also being redefined: not only performance, but also refined interiors, material excellence and attention to detail.
The talk marked the opening of the “Living in Motion” exhibition, on view at MAUTO until October 11, 2026.
