The Challenge: To bring the excellence of Pelle Frau® into the automotive world through a material that combines sustainability, performance and aesthetic quality, without compromise.

The Response: Poltrona Frau In Motion’s Research & Development team created an exclusive version of Pelle Frau® Impact Less specifically for automotive interiors. Naturally tanned using a tannin derived from the wastewater of olive pressing, this leather marks an important step in the brand’s sustainability journey, while preserving the softness, durability and refinement required for a project as exclusive as the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. Available in a sophisticated palette of colours, the leather fully upholsters the car’s interiors, helping shape an experience where technology, craftsmanship and Italian design culture come together in perfect balance.

The Result: The collaboration with Alfa Romeo continues a partnership that began in 2006 and confirms Poltrona Frau In Motion’s role as a development partner, able to transform materials, research and craftsmanship into a new expression of automotive luxury.
